About Me

My name is Hanieh, but most people know me as “Honey.” I’m a proud mother of two children, aged 22 and 19. I have loved photography since I was a child, but it remained a dream for many years. After my son, my second child, was born, I decided to finally turn that dream into reality.

I started with basic equipment but took the best courses and workshops to develop my skills. My first studio was a small corner in my home, where I focused on portrait photography. As my knowledge grew and my photos became more unique, more clients trusted me. I never needed to advertise because my happy clients always introduced me to others.

As my work grew, I upgraded my equipment and moved my studio out of my home. I started wedding photography and worked in many areas, including real estate, jewelry, products for brands like Michael Kors, newborn, maternity, family, and even pet photography. My studio became a professional space with loyal clients.

I built a small, talented team with videographers and editors, and for years I managed to balance my passion for photography with being a mother. While I worked in many types of photography, my true love has always been newborn photography. Every time I had a newborn session, I felt excited and happy—it was like therapy for me.

But due to the challenges in my home country and wanting a better future for my children, I made the difficult decision to leave behind my successful business in Iran and move to Canada.

When I arrived in Canada, I was hired as the manager of a well-known photography studio in Toronto after just two months. I worked there for a year but realized that the style of work there didn’t match my vision and creativity. So, I decided to start my own journey again and opened a small home studio, using my 18 years of experience.

Here in Canada, while I am skilled in many areas of photography, I decided to focus on my true passion—newborn photography. I love this work, and Toronto has a greater demand for newborn photographers than for wedding photographers or other areas of photography.
